Welcome to Congregation Mishkan Or, which means “Dwelling Place of Light”! We are a new synagogue-community, established on July 1, 2024, but we have a long and strong history within our community and within the movement of Reform Judaism. The founders of Congregation Mishkan Or are the members of both Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple and The Temple-Tifereth Israel who voted overwhelmingly on March 6, 2024, to unify and generate a new dynamic era in Jewish life with growing light and shared vision.
